He began his studies at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Faculty of Humanities, in Eastern Languages and Cultures, with a minor in Aesthetics, where he developed a strong background in the Arabic language as well as the history and civilisation of the Islamic world. In 2016, he was admitted to ELTE’s MA programme in Arabic Studies, graduating in 2019 with a state-awarded honours distinction. He defended his doctoral dissertation in autumn 2025. During his university years, he also worked as an interpreter and linguistic expert on assignments for the Hungarian Defence Forces and the Győr-Moson-Sopron County Police Headquarters. He previously worked as a researcher at the Eurasia Center of John von Neumann University, served as a Senior Research Fellow at the Migration Research Institute, and was an editor at Eurasia Magazine. His research focuses on ethnic and religious minorities in the Middle East—particularly in Iraq and Egypt—and also covers Arabic dialects, the Arab world’s international relations, and its role in the global economy.
