Biography

Sára Kmeczkó completed her higher education at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) and Ludovika University of Public Service (LUPS). Following her undergraduate studies in Oriental Languages and Cultures, Iranian Studies, and International Security and Defense Policy, she earned her master's degree in Islamic Studies with honors. She further deepened her linguistic and civilizational knowledge during studies at universities in Iran, Tunisia, and Jordan. Throughout her professional career, she worked as a researcher at the Migration Research Institute of the Mathias Corvinus Collegium, and subsequently supported strategic decision-making processes as an analyst at the Cabinet Office of the Prime Minister of Hungary. Her foreign language proficiency (Arabic, Persian, English, French, German) grants her direct access to relevant foreign sources, enabling the understanding of less widely discussed perspectives. She is currently a doctoral student at the Doctoral School of Military Sciences at LUPS, with her research focusing on the political, social, and security dynamics of the Maghreb.
